   Currently serving as a career fire engineer. Emergency duties include operation of fire
   apparatus, treatment of patients experiencing medical emergencies, suppression of
   structure, brush and motor vehicle fires and the extrication of persons trapped in motor
   vehicle accidents. Non-emergency duties include inspection of commercial occupancies,
   delivering public education programs and management of the department's Web site.

   MAY 2006-PRESENT - Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services - Little Rock, Ark
   Currently serving as a part-time Emergency Medical Technician for the largest pre-hospital
   care provider in the state of Arkansas.

   Served as a paid-per-call firefighter. Duties included suppression of structure, brush
   and motor vehicle fires and the extrication of persons trapped in motor vehicle accidents.

   for the planning, design, management and safe shooting of commercial fireworks displays.

   individuals. Services include logo & advertising design as well as web consulting, web site design
   and total web site management.

   AUGUST 1998 - MAY 2002 - The Pow Wow - The University of Louisiana at Monroe
   Served in a variety of management positions at the 6,000 circulation weekly. Positions
   included editor-in-chief, assistant editor, chief of staff, sports editor and editor of the
   paper's online edition. Other duties included layout & design of news, opinion and sports
   pages; sports and breaking news photography; and production of special publications.

   JUNE 2000 - AUGUST 2000 - Advance Monticellonian - Monticello, Ark.
   Duties included layout & design of living and front news pages for 5,300 circulation
   weekly newspaper. Also handled a portion of advertising composition and layout
   & design of 2000 Monticello Visitors & Newcomers Guide.

   JANUARY 1999 - MAY 1999 - Campus Close-Up - The University of Louisiana at Monroe
   Wrote, produced and co-hosted weekly radio news program highlighting events on the
   ULM campus. Program aired on stations throughout northeast Louisiana.

   JUNE 1994 - AUGUST 1998 - Advance Monticellonian - Monticello, Ark.
   Began as a part-time type-setter and advanced to sports writer, photographer and
   ultimately to full-time sports editor. Also served as layout & design coordinator for
   variety of special publications, including 1997 Monticello Visitors & Newcomers Guide
   and 146-page special 1998 "Pride & Progress" edition of the Advance Monticellonian.

Community Involvement
   2002-04 - Monticello, Ark. Christmas Parade & Fireworks Show
   Served as one of two pro bono pyrotechnics coordinators responsible for planning, designing,
   managing and overseeing fireworks display.

   JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2004 - Citizens For A Safer Maumelle
   Assisted committee in all aspects of campaign for a 1% sales tax in the City of
   Maumelle, Ark. Developed PowerPoint presentation and spoke to civic groups regarding
   benefits of the tax.
